Purpose of the Job: To identify, Develop and generate business opportunities in Pharma and Process & HI segment in Maharashtra & Goa region by working with customers & generate business so as to ensure requisite margins & profits from sales.


Description of main tasks:


The Incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:


Business Development & Specification Generation


  • To expand business through specification with existing set of identified specifiers and to add new specifiers for key accounting. Special focus on process piping insulation specifications through dedicated specifier for pharma and process sub-segments like API, Bulk Drug, Labs, Chemicals, Steel and Textiles.
  • Establish relationship with the end customer based in the region to influence the specifications for their projects coming all across India.
  • To get products specified with Consultants/Specifiers & end customers.
  • To continuously identify new business opportunities by finding out new applications of product for new markets for increasing market share of products.

Marketing Activities


  • To conduct marketing activities, seminars, exhibitions and other brand building business development activities in the respective region

Sales


  • To implement business plan to create pipeline to meet NSV and profitability targets by influencing the specifications and passing leads to enable distributors to execute the sales to the segment customers/contractor

Channel Management


  • To monitor/expand the dealer/distributor network with a special eye on achieving revenue targets.
  • To create, manage and motivate network of distributors across the area so as to sell and service the products.

Monthly reporting to key people


  • To generate yearly forecast of sales and continuously monitor and release monthly report to various key people in the company.

Market Intelligence


  • Collate market information to analyze trends and identify business opportunities & Market Intelligence - Competitive information

Business Analysis


  • To continuously identify, analyze and report market perception, competition, product performance, innovative applications of existing products in the Segment

Job Specifications


Professional Education


  • B.E – Mechanical Engineer, Preferred MBA / PGDBM in Mktg.

Professional Experience (how long)?


  • 5 to 7 Yrs.

In which areas?


  • Project selling of Building Material, HVAC/Industrial equipment (Eg. Pumps, Industrial Chillers, AHUs, Cooling towers, Boilers, PHEs, Air compressors, Reactors, process equipment and/or accessories (Insulation,Valves,Jackets,steam accessories etc.) supplying to Industrial Customers through specification route.
  • Must have good experience with dealing with Industrial HVAC & Process Consultants in the region
