Asset Reliability Data Analyst
Primary Activities on the Position:
- Effectively communicate with business partners, vendors, and internal service teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, requirements specifications, test plans, and user guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer and system understanding.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to knowledge review, and share knowledge and best practices with other team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.
- Work with end-users and domain subject matter experts (SME) to collect the right data, at the right time, with sufficient context that facilitates analytics, diagnostics, and insights.
- Create and support sandbox environments for proof-of-concepts, and advanced data analytics.
- Act as SME for data exchange APIs between maintenance systems.
- Assist with Digital System Dev Life-Cycle (SDLC), Author, Execution, Reviewer/Approver, and Change Management
- Assist with product releases by coordinating with internal service teams, vendors, and Asset Reliability Management Center of Excellence (ARM CoE).
- Work with business and product owners for SDLC, SOP and Work Instruction Authoring, Reviewing/Approving.
- Prepare and present analytical insights which can be used to optimize total cost of ownership for equipment assets used in shopfloor and building utilities.
- Utilize Aveva OSIsoft PI data and other Enterprise data for advanced analytics including machine learning.
- Prepare data models as templates for critical equipment components and present analytical insights using sandbox environments and production.
- Continuously improve and look for opportunities to bring the data analytics and actions, inhouse where practical.
- Collaborate with other teams for asset management, data collection, and the right maintenance at the right time.
What We Need:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and software development best practices.
- Experience in requirements gathering, system design, and preferable architecture.
- Expertise in testing, including test planning, test case development, and execution.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and ability to address system issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, business partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4 years’ experience in computer science and/or information systems
- Exceptional experience with Windows Server
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with Python and in depth knowledge of machine learning, remaining useful life, multi-variate and xy analysis, artificial intelligence, or IoT technologies.
Good to Have:
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management frameworks (e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, MS Project, JIRA).
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner).
- GMP Experience a definite plus.
- Experience with Hexagon, Maximo, or similar industry applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools.
Nice to Have:
- Additional Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
