The Treasury team provides the insights to the management for the Mortgage business in terms of the production, prepayment, profitability, pricing and other ancillary ad hoc reports. The team also looks into the liquidity management information for the deposit an the loan books. The team keeps a track on the Market risk hedging for the LOB and is responsible for the tracking of the performances of the hedges in place.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage monthly outlook forecasts for Treasury related areas such as Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk and Capital and assist with forecasting and stress testing for several areas, including Funds Transfer Pricing as well as core treasury areas
- Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects and responsible for daily/weekly reporting for Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) Mortgage business which include key business metrics.
- Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting for Asset and Wealth Management (AWM)'s market risk exposures and related hedging program alongside preparing monthly and adhoc analysis for senior management around hedging strategies and drivers of residual P&L
- Manage liquidity reporting across all products within Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) including daily, monthly verification of data, variance analysis and understanding of key drivers and partner with Finance, Corporate Treasury, and Technology to streamline and automate reporting for Liquidity Risk and Market Risk related items
- Automation of existing processes and partnership with Technology teams to onboard processes to a strategic solution, Management of the existing processes to bring in efficiencies in the system
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses for management meetings and strategic reviews (e.g., Operating Committee Review, Regional Business and Finance Town hall, Investor Day, etc.)
- Assist Mortgage leads with the ad hoc reporting regarding the in depth analysis of the existing information and work with Automation team to interpret the databases and implement the reporting changes.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of Chartered Accountant or an Masters in Business Administration in Finance is required
- 4+ years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services and avid user of technology to bring in efficiencies.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with experience of Microsoft Access, Alteryx/Python.
- Experience in creating Tableau dashboards.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Excellent organizational, management, both verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
