Assessment Services KY3P


The Role: Demand, Consumption & Evolution Analyst


The Team: The Demand, Consumption & Evolution Team is responsible for responsible for providing specialized support to clients and third parties, ensuring client onboarding and alignment with our product offerings, and actively participating in business reviews and prospective client discussions to drive product consumption. This is a customer-centric position that requires active engagement and expertise in assessment service delivery and product utilization.


The role has seven distinct Responsibilities:


  • SME Support: Provide expert support to clients and third parties about our Third-Party Assessment Product and Process.
  • Client questionnaire mapping: Provide assessment mapping and reverse mapping for customers using KY3P’s Best Practices Questionnaire (BPQ) and customer third party assessment questionnaires. These mappings will be perform using automated tools and manuals processes and used to help determine how much of a customers’ third-party questionnaire is aligned to KY3P’s BPQ.
  • Enabler Tool Development: Develop Customer Enabler Tools using Microsoft Excel. The tool will be formatted using the format based on the Customer’s questionnaire format. Using formulas and features in Microsoft Excel to import third party assessment information from .csv and .xls tabs that reside in other spreadsheets. 
  • Client Onboarding: Provide methodology overview and training to client managers and Subject Matter Experts (Assessor).
  • Meeting Participation: Participate in Customer Quarterly Business Reviews, Proof of Concept and ad-hoc customer meetings with the goal of helping customers increase their efficiency and understanding of the comprehensive assessment and methodology. Additionally gain efficiency in addressing content specific question regarding our third party assessments quecationnaire. Reporting: Maintain records of customer interactions and Generate reports using PowerBI and Trello.
  • Professional Certifications: Compete a Cyber/Risk related certification at least annually in order to maintain proficiency in the domains needed for Third Party Risk Management.

This role is pivotal in enhancing client engagement through expert support on our Third-Party Assessment Product and Process. By mapping client questionnaires and developing tailored Enabler Tools, we empower clients to optimize their assessment processes. Active participation in business reviews and training sessions fosters deeper understanding and efficiency, driving product consumption. Moreover, maintaining comprehensive records and generating insightful reports ensures transparency and continuous improvement. Our commitment to professional development through annual cybersecurity certifications further strengthens our expertise in Third Party Risk Management. This customer-centric position is essential for fostering strong relationships and enhancing the overall client experience.

What We’re Looking For:


Basic Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Third Party Risk Management
  • Proven experience in client support, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Strong background in questionnaire mapping and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience in participating in customer/client methodology Meetings
  • Experience in developing and delivering training to customers/third parties.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT security assessments and related frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 270XX, NIST CSF, NIST 800-XX, COBIT, etc.).
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Excel experience that include the ability to perform data extraction using:  
    • VLOOKUP Function: Understanding how to use the VLOOKUP function to search for data in a table and return corresponding values.
    • Data Manipulation: Skills in sorting, filtering, and organizing data to prepare it for analysis and reporting.
    • Cell Referencing: Proficiency in using relative and absolute cell references to ensure accurate data retrieval.
    • Formulas and Functions: Familiarity with various Excel functions (e.g., IF, INDEX, MATCH) to enhance data analysis.
    • Pivot Tables: Ability to create and manipulate pivot tables for summarizing and analyzing data efficiently.
    • Conditional Formatting: Using conditional formatting to highlight important data points in reports.
    • Data Validation: Implementing data validation to ensure data integrity when pulling information between spreadsheets.
    • Basic Charting: Creating charts and graphs to visually represent data findings in reports.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional Certification(s) (CISA, CISSP, CRISC or equivalent experience) is (are) a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong analytical skills.
  • Capable of operating independently with objectivity and integrity
  • Good judgement, professional maturity, enthusiasm, energy, and a constructive attitude.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Office 365, PowerBI, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills both internally and externally.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.
