Job Summary:
The Electronics Manufacturing Shopfloor Associate will be
responsible for assembling electronic components and systems within a
production line. The role involves precise handling of parts, operating
assembly equipment, and ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Operations:
Perform the assembly of electronic components and systems according to specifications and work orders.
Utilize various tools and machinery (e.g., soldering iron, automated assembly equipment) to assemble components accurately.
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality and adherence to manufacturing standards.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Record and report any quality issues to supervisors and participate in corrective actions as needed.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work effectively within a team environment, communicating clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals, challenges, and process improvements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production output, quality checks, and assembly processes.
Follow established procedures for documenting any issues or deviations from standard manufacturing practices.
Safety and Efficiency:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure the assembly area is clean and organized, promoting operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
ITI /Graduate or equivalent; technical training in electronics is preferred.
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
Basic understanding of electronics and familiarity with assembly processes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and work instructions.
Work Environment:
The role involves working in an electronics manufacturing facility, usually within an assembly cell.
Requires standing for long periods and may involve working with small parts and components.
