Edelman, India is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Creative Group Head to join our creative team and lead the design and execution of various projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the visual direction and quality of our work, as well as managing and mentoring junior designers. As a Creative Group Head, you will work closely with clients, account managers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to understand their needs and goals, and deliver innovative and effective design solutions that meet their expectations and deadlines. You will also create and present design concepts, develop and launch brands, and evaluate marketing and campaign strategies. To be successful in this role, you should at least have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience as an art director or a senior designer in a reputable agency or company. You should also have a strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates your creativity, skills, and style. You should be proficient in using design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as familiar with web design and digital media. You should also have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced.
Responsibilities:
Manage and contribute to a variety of projects, including print and digital advertising, websites, social media, packaging, logos, and more
Produce creative thought leadership in the creation of high-quality design work that reflects the client’s brand identity, message, and objectives
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure that all their needs are met and that the design work is aligned with their vision and strategy
Manage and mentor junior designers, providing them with feedback, guidance, and support
Review and approve all design work before delivery, ensuring that it meets the company’s standards and requirements
Create and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and processes
Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field
Min 4 years of experience as an art director or a senior designer in a reputable agency or company
Strong portfolio of design work that showcases your creativity, skills, and style
Proficient in using design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Familiar with web design and digital media, including HTML, CSS, and WordPress
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
Passionate about design and eager to learn and grow
