The Opportunity:
Area Sales Manager is a techno commercial role responsible for promoting and developing AFH business in Bio-Pharma/Pharma accounts in region to generate business for Masterflex & Avantor Single-Use product line. The focus is to optimize business in the given territory while driving profitable revenue growth. In addition, need to work closely with business support functions (CS/SCM/Finance) on day-to-day basis to accomplish assigned targets.
Avantor Fluid Handling (AFH) division provides Standard/Customized solutions for bio-pharmaceutical manufacturers across every step of the bioprocess workflow. AFH division offers Masterflex Peristaltic pump, Tubing, Single-Use products (SU bags, customize assemblies, etc.) and more.
This role will have great exposure & importance with lot of support from commercial & cross functional teams.
What we're looking for:
Education: Bachelor/Master of Science in engineering, Biochemical or a related field.
Experience: 3-4 years of relevant sale experience in the Bio-Pharma Industry.
Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management software such as Salesforce, etc.

Developing sales programs to maximize sales from the assigned accounts.
Conducting market research to develop/implement sales initiatives, sales strategies.
To identify & follow up on sales opportunities in the market, identifying market trend to mange & expand our market position.
Building brand awareness in the assigned geographical area.
Working in collaboration with team members.
Maintaining a strong relationship with current and prospective clients.
Organizing sales meetings to analyze sales insights.
