Responsibilities Installing SAP PI/PO software, applying patches, support packages, hotfixes, and configuring system components. Maintaining the SAP PI/PO system landscape, including development, testing, and production environments. Proactive monitoring of SAP PI/PO components like the Adapter Engine, Integration Engine, System Landscape Directory (SLD), and more. Using tools (like Runtime Workbench, Component Monitoring, various transactions, and logs) to analyse and resolve system errors and performance issues. Troubleshooting communication failures, integration errors, and message processing bottlenecks. Setting up and maintaining transport routes within the SAP landscape to move configuration objects (interface definitions, mappings, etc.) between development, test, and production systems. Utilizing the Change and Transport System (CTS+) to manage and track software changes. Applying granular security measures to protect sensitive integration data. Analyzing performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Tuning system parameters, message processing settings, and caching mechanisms to enhance throughput and reduce latencies in integration scenarios. Ensure required systems validation standards with regards to design and test specifications are met. Performs closing activities, including formal review and sign-offs with business stakeholders. Adheres to PepsiCo’s controls, processes and standards. Prioritize team’s work and assign daily work tasks with limited supervision Submits period forecasts, manages project and organizational financials by accurately tracking and updating expense status through period forecasts to ensure budget expectations are achieved Provides input to annual objectives, conducts annual performance processes including setting objectives and measurement and performance evaluation, conducts PMP Process, responsible for hiring decisions Ensures effective resource utilization across the workgroup Get guidence from global teams for standards and direction Provides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect customers Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required Bachelor’s degree required SAP Certificates and/or PMP Certification are a plus 10+ years of SAP experience overall, 6+ years as PI/PO Admin experience is mandatory Requires excellent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation PI/PO Upgrade, Migration experience is must Strong trouble shooting skills is important handling critical interface failures. SLT, BODS knowledge is a plus Deep understanding of dependencies between SAP Technical Development and other SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security. Understands flow of business processes and supporting IT infrastructure (idocs, workflows, data exchange, interfaces) Strong analytical skills Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business and project requirements Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP Charm, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, HP Quality Center, project implementation and production support experience Must have previous experience managing small teams and proven ability to develop teams and cultivate talent Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent Experience in CPG industry preferred Differentiating Competencies Required Ability to make decisions based on information at hand.
