Overview Pepsico is looking for a Architect -DVM to Lead in DVM areas to deliver scope of work related to DVM projects across SAP platform Responsibilities Accountabilities: The DVM Architect accountabilities includes, but is not limited to… Lead in DVM areas to deliver scope of work related to DVM projects across SAP platform Partner will IT teams during project pursuit for solution design, resource planning and cost estimations Manage all aspects of archiving project implementation from requirements gathering to post go-live activities adhering to PepsiCo’s defined methodology Create & update project solution documents (FSDs, diagrams, test plans, etc.) Work with ABAP resources to align technical specifications to functional requirements Lead and coordinate configuration and implementation of archiving objects within the project scope according to signed off user requirements. (KEY) Ensure required systems validation standards with regards to design and test specifications are met Performs closing activities, including formal review and sign-offs with business stakeholders Collaborate with global teams for standards and direction on technical decisions Acts as quality assurance (QA) lead and/or performs reviews on technical designs and builds to ensure all standards are met Ensure adherence to release and change management processes, control compliance while performing technical activities Stay up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means Adhere to annual performance processes including setting objectives and measurement and performance evaluation Provides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect customers Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science Minimum 6-8 years hands-on SAP Data Archiving and DaRT Implementation experience 5+ years experience working with teams across multiple geographies Mandatory Technical Skills Must have experience in full Implementation life cycle of SAP Data archiving Hands-on experience with managing Content Servers or any other Imaging solution (i.e. PBS PCL, IXOS, Filenet, Documentum, etc.); PBS PCL experience is preferred Experience implementing and sustaining PBS Add-On is preferred Deep understanding of one or more SAP functional areas such as FI/CO and Logistics Deep understanding of dependencies between SAP Technical, ABAP Development and other SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security required Knowledge of ITIL tools & processes, MS Office products, Project implementation methodology and Production support desired Mandatory Non-Technical Skills Ability to independently plan and manage deliverables Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple geographies Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers Experience in IT, CPG industry preferred Differentiating Competencies Required Global acumen & Geographical sensitivity: Considers local issues and challenges within the context of current events as well as the broader business, not just his/her own geographic area, function or business category Relationships: Develops effective and rewarding working relationships with people across different cultures and/or business categories Innovations: Generates insights that lead to new ideas that can be implemented in the business / IT processes Stakeholder Management: Navigating through stakeholders and having critical conversations Displays trust, openness and transparency with others to deliver commitments when working on shared goals
