About the Role:

What's In It For You? As part of the Global Operations leadership team, this role is more of an operations specialist, communications who will work on strategy and communications efforts focusing on and supporting internal communications strategy. You will help the Global Operations Leadership team in India create, execute, and manage communication strategies, manage local engagement, and prepare presentations, all while highlighting our culture, and enhancing the overall understanding of S&P Global India.


The Team: You will be part of a team where you will flex and provide support where needed. While you will report to the Global Operations Leadership as part of the larger Client Operations department, you will be responsible for day-to-day stakeholder support for senior stakeholders in India. You will be equally a strategist and tactician with hyper-vigilant attention to detail and the ability to manage and execute complex communications plans with little direction. We are seeking an excellent writer and storyteller who can operate in a fast-paced environment to develop effective, executive-ready content and act as a trusted communication partner.  


Responsibilities and Impact:


  • Help execute internal and external communications that align with S&P Global India’s messaging and tone, including business and cultural priorities, and ensure they are consistent with the enterprise. 
  • You will be the sole Communications person based out of India executing communications plans for key initiatives and major milestones.
  • Plan and prepare effective, thoughtful, and engaging communications that educate, inform, connect, and inspire employees.
  • You will help in the execution and measurement of Communication campaigns for corporate initiatives and key events in India Client Operations. You will help provide relevant recommendations to amplify the campaign.
  • Being able to operate tools such as Contact Monkey, Smartsheet, Canva, and Vidyard will be an added advantage.  
  • Partner with colleagues, team members, and senior stakeholders to develop communications plans, and coordinate town halls, fireside chats, roundtables, and other internal events.
  • Develop and edit PowerPoint decks for local leadership.
  • Prepare reports and database required to maintain an operational database for India Client Ops.
  • Work with a global mindset that is educated and sensitive to geographic and cultural differences.

  • Be agile, collaborative, and transparent, and assume positive intent across the team and internal stakeholders. Functional & Business Knowledge

What We’re Looking For:


  • Understanding the local environment and a willingness to learn and understand the S&P Global India business.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Must have strong PowerPoint and graphic development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, and on tight deadlines. Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications:


  • Having a Bachelor’s/Masters degree with an emphasis in Communications, Journalism, marketing, or related fields is preferred.
  •  Experience working as an intern/ apprentice in a corporate environment or Corporate Communications department.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience with using analytics to measure the effectiveness of communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Highly proficient in digital literacy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic hands-on experience with MS Office tools and other automation-related tools such as PowerBi is an added advantage.
