Position Summary

Position Summary and Location


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Trainee – Business Analyst to join our Application Development team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in business analysis by gaining hands-on experience in requirement gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.


As a trainee, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to understand business needs, document requirements, and assist in delivering technology solutions that drive business efficiency.






Duties & Responsibilities

Functions


  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for application development projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and system enhancements.
  • Support the creation of functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and UX designers to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Participate in meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Help conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end users.
  • Learn and apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in project execution.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations as needed.

Safety


·Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.


Other


·Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.


·Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.


·Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Required Skills


·Recent graduate/post-graduate or final-year student in Business Administration, BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and business analysis concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):


  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Basic knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, or wireframing tools.
  • Exposure to SQL and data analysis concepts.
