Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth functioning of the application. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for critical business systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to Oracle PLSQL. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution of critical incidents. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and system diagrams. - Participate in the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle PLSQL and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, Unix Shell Scripting, and Java. - Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL queries. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Oracle PLSQL. - Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Oracle PLSQL. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - Role has permanent Night Shift - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.NA
