Your Role and Responsibilities You will own end-to-end features from concept to design to production, and partner with product managers, user experience designers, and other engineers to achieve high-quality solutions. As an Application Engineer you will create applications, which solve complex business problems, using Apptio’s TBM/BI platform.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MCA/MBA
Minimum 5+ Years experience with analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, or PowerBI)
SQL knowledge and database experience with MySQL or other relational DBs
Good knowledge of data modeling, both relational and dimensional.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Technical expertise with databases, data warehousing and BI tools.
Strong ETL Experience in Design, Configuration, Data Mapping, Extraction, Transformation and Loading
People skills to operate in a fast-paced cross-functional team
Experience working in an Agile environment
