Job description
Role Summary: An Application Architect is responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient software applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring the architecture aligns with best practices and principles. They conduct code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and ensure seamless system integration. They work with multiple teams in parallel to achieve a common goal. Additionally, they maintain comprehensive documentation and oversee the quality and consistency of the codebase, playing a crucial role in the successful implementation and maintenance of software applications. Key responsibilities: • Develop architecture strategy by defining a strategic vision for the organization's IT architecture, aligned to business goals and objectives. • Define solutions to complex business problems using a wide range of artefacts, methods and tools and uses expertise and knowledge within a specific area to meet business requirements aligned with the overall architecture. • Act as Technical Authority and lead for complex, enterprise-scale, mission-critical applications • Collaborate with technical teams to define integrations with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow. • Work with enterprise architects, product teams and partners to understand their integration needs and constraints. • Create architecture design and implementation frameworks for building echo system across all common platform Apply a rigorous and consistent approach to technology decision-making, considering risk, impact, and business factors such as cost and skills in the strategy implementation. • Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and services that align with the company's business needs and strategic goals • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance the company's products and services. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the organization. Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Application Architect or a similar role in the financial industry or Fintech/product based company • Deep understanding of technology trends and best practices in the automotive sector. • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. • Experience with cloud platforms, data management, and integration technologies. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. • Complex problem solving with an ability to resolve conflict and identify best-fit solutions to challenges encountered. • TOGAF level 1, or other Enterprise Architecture certification desirable Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in the following technologies: Frontend: ReactJS [Good to have] Backend: .NET [Must have] Cloud: AWS [Must have] Mobile: Native Mobile App Development or Flutter. [Good to have] Enterprise Applications: Salesforce [Good to have] Exposure to AI/ML, chatbots and prompt engineering.
