OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
He/She will be responsible for managing Analytics BI Platform (Qliksense, Qlikview and Power BI) end-to-end to monitoring and maintenance of Run Support. And demonstrate a broad understanding of Analytics BI Development Techniques, Deployment and Data Integration for various business scenarios.
Overall, He/She will also be responsible for platform Maintenance & Support , Development, Implementation, Developing Best practices, integration, Enhancement, and Platform audits.
BI Technical Expert will report to Delivery Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Administration & Development
- Participate & Contribute to overall Platform Run Support, architecture, infrastructure Maintainance & Design, strategy, testing, backup, & recovery of the Qlik suite of products including QlikSense, QlikView, nPrinting and custom connectors.
- Will act as an advisor for the most optimal and effective architecture and implementation/usage on Qlik Platforms.
- Responsible to manage Qlik Platform, and its associated modules, Management Console, data connections & connectors, Security rules, Custom Properties.
- Responsible to manage policies and options that run the Analytics Platform servers and apps.
- Responsible to maintain & prepare Weekly/Monthly/Yearly KPIs for Internal Management on Run Topics.
- Responsible to ensure SLAs are met and proper Run Standards are met.
- Proactively monitor all Analytics Solutions like Power BI , QlikSense, QlikView & nPrinting environment to ensure performance on the servers and ensure right platform practices are followed.
- Define best practices and governance processes for BI Application deployments.
- Performance tuning of dashboards and monitoring long running production jobs and doing any performance tuning activities to ensure jobs are well-optimized.
- Experience in handling Changes Management, deploying changes during the scheduled days and providing post-production support

- Responsible to manage Service Requests, Incidents, Problem tickets and providing proper resolution and RCA.
- Work closely with Project Delivery Team, to build and develop data models, dashboards, reporting systems, data automation systems as per the business requirements.
- Able to Translate business needs to technical specifications and Design, build and deploy solutions.
General:
- Ensure collaboration with Functional Architects as business cases are set up for each initiative, collaborate with other analytics team to drive and operationalize analytical deployment. Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Strong ability to take the lead and be autonomous Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement. Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, the candidate needs to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or industry-related curriculum
Technical
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Qlik Administration & Development and Other Analytics Solutions
- Qlik Sense Administration and Data Architect Certificate is good to have.
- Strong experience in using Qlik Sense suite of products (such as QlikSense, QlikView & nPrinting) develop reporting systems integrating various sources of data.
- Experience in Qlik Administration modules & Services and strong ability to troubleshoot platform issues.
- Experience in performance tuning on the Qlik platform using scalability tools or other relevant tools.
- Working knowledge of clustering and scaling Qlik servers in a VM environment.
- Strong understanding of Data Integration, Data Model, Data Transformation and Data Visualisation.
- Experience in App & Data model Development using complex queries & optimized queries.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot App Performances and provide proper guidelines & best practices.
- Strong understanding of different connectors for integration of different data sources
- Understandable knowledge of ERP Systems and other Bi solutions (Power bI) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Databases and reporting queries.
Business
- Experience in working with Manufacturing and Transportation Industry
- Strong domain knowledge in any one of the streams such as Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, Industrial Operations, Finance and HR to understand how the applications within the area of focus work & add value to deliver BI/Analytics need aligning to business processes.
- Understanding of all aspects of Manufacturing and Transportation Industry functions and processes.
- Strong Experience analysing data, information and business processes acumen.
