The Analytics Manager holds a reporting line to the GBS Business Insights Lead and assumes responsibility for leading and inspiring a team consisting of Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and visualization specialists. This team is accountable for conceiving, developing, and executing end-to-end analytics solutions for the GBS organization, Supply Chain organization, as well as other business units within AkzoNobel. The Analytics Manager is an integral part of the GBS Business Insights team, which operates globally and comprises diverse professionals stationed across different locations. The team's overarching objectives are to foster transparency regarding organizational performance, cultivate a culture of data-driven decision-making, and generate business value through insightful analysis.
Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, the Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in defining analytics strategies, identifying lucrative business opportunities, and providing actionable insights that contribute to the organization's overall objectives. They will possess a comprehensive understanding of requirements, define suitable architecture, and ensure the seamless delivery of analytics projects. The Analytics Manager's expertise in stakeholder management, technical solutioning, data modeling, and team management will serve as a catalyst for driving innovation and enhancing the organization's analytics capabilities.
