Overview
The US Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.
The US Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.
Marketing Analytics & Investment Services team (MA&IS) within USCM,delivers critical targeting, analytics and planning capabilities that enable USCM to make optimal investment decisions and ensure that our best current and future customers can be rewarded with great offers and marketing treatments.
Within Investment Services, the newly formed Prospect & Cobrand Insights team has a mission to unlock performance insights in our cardmember acquisition channels and provide a holistic understanding of the revenue drivers behind over $2B in marketing.
The goal of the Prospect Performance Insights is to track and broadcast USCM business results for Prospect Acquisitions relative to goals and over time. The vision for the team is to enable leadership to make informed decisions basis our analytics and data driven insights delivery.
As a key contributor and collaborator of USCM weekly and monthly performance communication, this role will have the opportunity to communicate regularly with senior leadership, working on new views to further enhance insights and drive investment decisions. In addition, this role provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to marketing strategies and big bet initiatives as well as the drivers of results/growth. The Analyst will provide consultative support to peers and leaders in marketing channels, through strategic analytics that highlight trends, risks and opportunities and actionable business insights to improve investment efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
· Accountable for maintaining and validating Prospect acquisitions reporting for Marketing teams
· Maintain and develop various dashboards that focus on specific strategic initiatives, enabling drill-down into drivers
· Plan and execute business analytics leveraging data and KPIs to generate insights in close collaboration and thought partnership with channel Marketing teams, resulting into better business decisions
· Analyze large amounts of data to derive business insights and create innovative solutions
· Develop insightful content and analysis for communication with leadership and partners
· Clear articulation and positioning of business findings across Prospect products/channels to the leadership and key partners
· Provide support on Production issues, and Compliance requirements while continuously strengthening control management, and bringing discipline and agility to everything we do
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in delivering reporting and insights through analysis of complex and large datasets
· Superior analytical skills – ability to analyze/understand large data sets, synthesize and draw out relevant insights
· Extreme attention to detail and accuracy – strong sense of responsibility and accountability
· Self-starter with an ability to navigate the organization and processes independently
· Project management skills – ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize accordingly
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Intermediate experience in SQL Server and basic knowledge of Python, or exposure to Google BigQuery is preferred
· Working knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI visualization tools
Strong aptitude with MS-Excel and good understanding of PowerPoint presentations
