What you’ll do:


Responsibilities:


  • Translate high-level business strategic objectives and goals into AI governance requirements and conceptual frameworks.


  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate business stakeholders’ needs into goals and deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to prioritization decisions.


  • Develop and support comprehensive AI governance solutions that meet organizational requirements and integrate into the overall corporate AI strategy.


  • Participate in AI project design and reviews to ensure compliance with AI governance and ethical standards.


  • Analyze the business requirements for global AI initiatives to design and implement robust governance frameworks for AI deployments.


  • Provide ongoing AI risk reporting and monitoring, identifying key trends and metrics to regularly measure governance effectiveness.


  • Support and collaborate on the development, implementation, and administration of policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies within the organization.


  • Collaborate with Privacy, Cyber Security and AI Ethics teams to ensure AI systems adhere to regulatory and auditing requirements.


  • Maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally diverse work environment.


  • Manage AI governance tools and systems to monitor compliance and analyze AI system performance.


  • Manage a technical team of full-time employees (FTE) and contractors, guiding and mentoring direct reports.


  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts for AI tools and services.


  • Ability to present and engage in customer-facing conversations on AI governance topics.


  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed.


What you need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:


  • Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years experience.


Knowledge and Skills:


Excellent leadership and team management skills.


  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.


  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning models, and data privacy regulations.


  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


  • Ability to communicate complex AI governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
