The Role
As a Program Manager you will work directly with our customers to drive their Digital Experience design, development and implementation using one or more leading Adobe digital experience solutions like AEM, Commerce, Campaign, Analytics, Target and AEP etc.
Working at multiple levels with the Adobe consultants, Customer leadership, Adobe Product Engineering team and Partners. You will evaluate the proposed solutions, assess risks, plan the implementation, support the delivery, and manage the overall success of the program. You will oversee delivery and acceptance of the program scope as defined in the statement of work using our consulting methodology including tasks, deliverables, milestones, and resources, all the time coordinating with the core and field engineering teams as needed. You are required to work with teams that are distributed across different geographies, report program status to leadership and manage internal and external stakeholder relations
What you'll do
- Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs related to Adobe Digital Experience products (AEM, AEP, Target, Analytics, Campaign, Commerce etc)
- Work closely with customer, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee resource allocation and ensure that teams are properly equipped to meet program goals.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to synthesize and structure strategic issues in a concise way
- Supervise the program execution and proactively lead changes and risks, partnering with other teams and collaborators to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication and alignment occurs, and plans are adjusted accordingly
- Be a change agent! Identifying and implementing ways to improve processes and remove bottlenecks to systemically improve how we deliver value to our customers
- Lead and drive sophisticated decision-making and problem solving in a conclusive, confident, and timely manner
- Drive strategic and tactical decisions to ensure the successful delivery of program
- Maintain a big-picture perspective when preparing and presenting program status reports, executive briefings, and other governance artifacts, along with all program level communications
- Build a report and partner with key collaborators to understand their objectives and goals, and help translate these into capabilities for the program
- Coordinate project delivery process with key contributors to help handle scope and prepare change requests, including tasks, deliverables, landmarks, resources, and estimated costs.
What you need to succeed
- Overall 15-20 years of experience in IT
- Proven experience as a program manager including client facing program management, delivering enterprise-scale web applications, data or experience platforms
- Experience using various project delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid) and tailoring the approach for program success
- Experience working in globally distributed delivery model
- Self-motivation and a positive demeanour that helps you to adapt to change
- Resourcefulness and a creative approach to problem-solving to succeed in a collaborative culture
- Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level direction
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences
- Influencing and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships and build credibility/trust with team members and Senior Leadership
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Professional demeanour, ability to interact with and lead teams with varied strengths throughout Adobe, and communicating with client managers, directors, and VPs
- Superb organizational skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects.
- Exceptional team building and team management skills, with shown experience handling virtual teams.
- Shown ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and to articulate high level technical solutions to address business problems.
- Ability to handle in an environment of ambiguity with diverse customers.
- Ability to build strong relationships and generate opportunities for repeat business.
