Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Acquiring Project Manager to join our team at Synechron. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchant acquiring and project management, with the ability to lead and manage acquiring projects from initiation through completion. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage acquiring projects from initiation through completion.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.
Leadership and Guidance:
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
Software Requirements:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
- Familiarity with merchant acquiring platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of risk management strategies and tools.
Technical Skills:
Project Management:
- Strong experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ability to develop detailed project plans and manage resources effectively.
Merchant Acquiring:
- In-depth knowledge of merchant acquiring processes and platforms.
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience:
- 12+ years of proven experience in managing acquiring projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Background in conducting market research and analysis.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Lead and manage acquiring projects, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
