• Administration of the fixed asset tagging procedures.
• Ensure all asset transfers are appropriately documented and reflected in SAP.
• Validate and process all asset disposals in the system, ensuring the proper accounting treatment.
• Maintain the fixed asset detail listing and reconciling to the general ledger on a Monthly basis, including posting of journal entries as necessary and other month-end close duties.
• Preparation of the fixed asset related metrics and KPIs
• Responsible for the creation of internal order numbers (statistical orders) in ERP (SAP) and Ariba workflows. • Support the internal fixed asset process (DLRC) ensuring accounting is correct for all types, tracking and reporting. • Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibilities.
• Participate in quarterly review and annual audit. Education and Experience • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required. CA, CPA a plus • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
