General Purpose                                          


Conducts activities as an individual contributor in support of small to medium projects/functions or small to medium business units. Assignments provide exposure to fundamental financial concepts /issues/ activities.


Essential Functions


  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  •  Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Work closely with other finance team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist junior team members with their tasks and provide guidance as needed.
  • Back up for other team members and counter parts in business supported.
  • Document and update department procedures.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements


  • Professional degree in Accounting / Finance (CA/ICWA)
  • 3 -5 years of experience in Financial Accounting
  • Experience in MNC Preferable
  • Experience in ERP, MS Excel

  • Computer skills – MS Office (Word, excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to work in shifts as required
  • Positive attitude to change and adaptable to meet new challenges
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
  • Self-motivated – able to work with minimum supervision
