In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Monthly books close: -
Perform monthly financials close by performing the month close related task. work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and make journals and accruals relevant for the period. familiarize with data query/data management tools. Perform variance analysis and recommend actions.
Strong analytical and data gathering skills, good business acumen, Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, Ability to streamline process and passion to learn and grow, including written and oral communication skills, Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently is a must.
knowledge of macros, has supported in automations, setting up jobs in SAP. Exposure to different ERP and reporting systems will be an added advantage.
Intercompany accounting: -
Perform intercompany accounting activities like., Intercompany invoicing and accounting, Intercompany payments, intercompany reconciliation, accruals, and journal postings.
Fixed asset accounting: - Perform capex related activities like, Asset creations, capitalization, depreciation, asset retirement, physical verification
Indirect tax: -
Danish VAT reporting. Reporting of the sales done between the European countries, Consignment stock/sales validation, Submission of VAT returns to Danish Tax authorities, Tax code validation, Export VAT reporting/ Main VAT reporting, Energy VAT reporting, Intrastat VAT reporting, Customs taxes reporting.
Potentially relevant experience:
Bachelors/master’s degree in accounting together with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and operational experience in SAP or other ERP
