Job description summary


In this role, you will prepare, analyse, and review, various monthly, quarterly, and annual statements which includes (Custody / valuation / CTC / CGT Statements). Apply expertise and judgement in providing quality, and occasionally complex client service and support to internal and external clients on a daily basis, including problem resolution, collaborating with various internal teams like Client Database, dividends, transaction processing, reconciliations and accounting services, and updates client accounts in a timely manner. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and executes all correspondent requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs. May review and check work of other Client Processing Support staff and help resolve escalated issues.


General Duties & Responsibilities


  • Take ownership and provide oversight of the function, ensuring requests are understood, completed, and delivered with the highest accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle incoming queries via mail, tickets and direct them to appropriate resource for resolution. Provides support to address ad hoc requests from various stakeholders in a professional manner. Escalates unresolved issues according to the work group’s escalation guidelines
  • Performs tasks to ensure compliance with work group and client-specific procedures to further guarantee adherence to service level agreements
  • Assists in tracking, compiling, and completing reports as assigned
  • Normally follows established procedures on most assignments, receives little instruction on daily work, and requires general instructions for newly introduced assignments.
  • May coach and/or mentor, cross train juniors / new joiners
  • Maintains up-to-date procedure manuals and writes drafts for changes to procedures.
  • May research and resolve internal and external customer-submitted and client-submitted account questions or problems outside normal daily procedures.
  • Makes recommendations to the department supervisor on any matter affecting productivity, efficiency, service, or problem resolution.
  • Works under minimal supervision on complex projects
  •  Other related duties assigned as needed
     

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Graduate with at least 4 years of experience / Postgraduate with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Fund Accounting, Asset Management, business processes, data flows, types of reports etc.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders. In this role the individual would need to understand data requirements and document them in clear, concise language.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent writing skills in English
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, team and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local and global teams, as well as on own initiative; sensitivity to diverse cultures and working styles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
