Global Finance Services (GFS), one of the pillars of Sanofi’s Business Operations organization, is setting up a Global Hub in Hyderabad to provide various Finance services.


A2R is a complex environment with many departments involved, different solutions and different sub-process leading the need to focus on Process Automation, Process Optimization, Centralize master data activities and to build a robust Governance.


This roll will be part of A2R group to support with deep knowledge in business processes, technical expertise and software delivery with a passion for user experience.  This scope will cover all part of A2R delivery:


  • Inter-Company


  • Cash Accounting


  • Fixed Assets


  • Closing and Account Reconciliations


Overall responsibility to support the operational team in charge of all transactional activities ensuring high quality, on time & controlled processes.  Ensuring strategic alignment and overseeing the Intercompany (customer & vendor) CoE Master Data, Technology & automation activities providing expertise and guidance. The role will work closely with Finance (Controlling, P2P, Internal Control), Customer Services, Supply chain, procurement and other SBS streams contacts.

Main responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop and facilitate the A2R Core Model improvement initiatives/process enhancements strategies and drive these activities to improve Intercompany SOPs. Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within Intercompany business processes and identification of better ways of working.


  • Support sharing of best practices as result of internal and external benchmarking activities. Execute KPIs & Dashboards and ensure improvement plans are identified and implemented. Contribute to different ERP / SYS Tools Deployment. Ensure Standard Operational Procedure updates with the new improvements identified.


  • Identify and recommend in collaboration with Digital evolutions on the system landscape. Request for changes or improvements in the A2R operations that would improve the way of working with cooperation of the multiple finance functions, Technology & Automation Expert.


  • Define, manage, and maintain Interco Business Partners process. Define Interco Master Data governance, business rules and scope (vendors, customers, tax codes, GL accounts to be used). Ensure Interco Vendors/Customers creation and maintenance in line with Interco Master Data Governance. Coordinate with other Master Data owners for Master Data that impact Interco Operations (e.g VAT codes, GL accounts). Ensure an agile program delivery that enables to build the right solutions that deliver business value swiftly and define key metrics for sourcing organization effectiveness. Ensure Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met.


  • Sets up close relationships with other stakeholders (Local & Captive A2R teams, legal, IFPP, Treasury, Corporate Tax, Consolidation, internal control and Finance Business partners, iSHIFT) when needed to allow smooth communication, efficient issue resolution and common alignment.


  • Set up close relationship within the organization to provide improvements in the process & Solutions to secure an End to End optimized & efficient process. Work closely with respective A2R GPL within GPO team to exchange new improvements in the Core Model design ad process.


About you
  • Experience: Around 10 – 15 years of experience in A2R process optimization, operations, business management, process transformation & Automation thru multiple tools. Proven experience in change management / project management.


  • Functional: Good understanding of Accounting processes and relevant Finance processes. Good understanding of RPA (other automation tools advantageous) / Automation tools. Continuous process improvement orientation. Problem solving and ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast-paced working environment with prioritizing capacity.


  • Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization and ability to work across different geographies and cultures. High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization. Background in influencing cross-functional teams toward execution of a strategic initiative. Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs (essential).


  • Technical: Hands on knowledge of SAP and other accounting applications. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel (complex formulas, power query)


  • Interpersonal: Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner. Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end-to-end mindset. Good communication skills. Analytical and synthetic, able to formalize solutions, good writing skills. Attentive to customer needs and feedback.


  • Leadership: Team leader/team coordinator experience, mentoring/Coaching experience (advantageous), action oriented, delivery driven, change agent role model.


  • Languages: Fluent in English (essential)
