Experience:

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Engineer with expertise in Implementation, Migration, Administration of VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V or Nutanix virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, implementation, migration, and administration of virtualization solutions, along with solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and disaster recovery technologies. This role is critical in managing and optimizing our virtual environments to ensure high availability and performanceKey Responsibilities:
Virtualization Deployment and Management:
Install, configure, and manage VMware vCenters, vSphere Client, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper V and related technologies.
Administer and operate vSphere Datacenters, including HA, DRS, vMotion, and svMotion.
Conduct ESXi and vCenter upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
Manage virtual machine operations, configurations, and performance monitoring using vSphere tools.
Disaster Recovery Solutions:
Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions using Zerto, VMware SRM, and other technologies.
Design disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Storage and Networking:
Configure and manage vSphere storage solutions, including iSCSI, FC, and vSAN.
Design and implement vSphere networking using Standard Switches and Distributed Switches (DVS).
Scripting and Automation:
Utilize VMware PowerCLI and scripting for automation of routine tasks and performance monitoring.
Implement best practices for ESXi hardening and vSphere security.
Technical Support and Documentation:
Provide L3 technical support for virtual environments, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.Technical Skills:
