Review and approve technical submittals prepared by the assigned AE II team.
Issue Application Engineering Manuals and Work Instructions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Support AE I and AE II members.
Attend meetings with Clients/End users/Consultants to discuss project design requirements, technical recommendations and solutions, product optimization, and guidance.
Assist AM I in setting goals and KPIs and evaluating the performance of all AE team members.
Define and implement the task schedule and workload distribution for the assigned AE I and AE II team.
Training and coaching all team members to help them develop their technical skills and careers and ensure that they are meeting the department's goals and business needs.
Assist AM I in issuing department manuals and work instructions.
Ensure deliverables are submitted within the timeframe.
Supporting End users and Clients in drafting detailed material and technical specifications based on the latest standards and best practices.
Lead-to-Order Phase:
Review and comment on detailed Application Engineering submittals prepared by AE I and AE II team.
Implement the culture of Value Engineering in all aspects of department policies and activities.
Engage with AM I to discuss product optimization solutions.
Follow the latest development activities undertaken by the Technology Department and the best practices for applying the Value Engineering Process.
Attend meetings with the Clients for critical inquiries and projects when needed.
Provide Answering all technical questions raised by the Client, Sales, Production, QC, and Site Services Departments.
Project Execution Phase:
Review and assist the AM I in releasing all Technical Documents for End-user approval.
Review the QTP and Inspect the qualification test spools prior to test execution to confirm their compliance.
Coordinate with the QC department to execute the qualification tests as required by the Client's specifications and international standards.
Troubleshooting technical problems and providing necessary support to AE I, AE II, Clients, and End-users.
Resolve bottlenecks and interdepartmental gaps and implement ways of improving workflow and efficiency.
Ensure deliverables are submitted within the timeframe.
