Job Summary: The role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and optimization of workforce management systems and processes. This role serves as a critical liaison between the HR, operations, and IT teams, ensuring the effective utilization and reporting of workforce data to support strategic decision-making. The WFM-MIS professional will be responsible for managing the WFM software, analyzing workforce trends, and providing insights to improve workforce efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of the organization's workforce management systems and tools
Collaborate with the HR, operations, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective WFM solutions
Develop and maintain workforce forecasting and scheduling models, ensuring accurate staffing levels and efficient resource allocation
Analyze workforce data, including historical trends, performance metrics, and productivity measures, to identify opportunities for improvement
Generate comprehensive workforce reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
Implement and maintain data integrity and security protocols for the WFM systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training and support to end-users on the WFM software and processes
Continuously research and evaluate new WFM technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend updates to improve organizational efficiency
Participate in the development and implementation of workforce management-related policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address workforce-related challenges, offering data-driven solutions
Manage and oversee the performance of external vendors or service providers supporting the WFM systems and processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of WFM processes and practices, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in a workforce management, business intelligence, or data analysis role
Proven expertise in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of workforce management software and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms
Knowledge of workforce management best practices, including forecasting, scheduling, and productivity optimization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Project management skills and experience in leading workforce-related initiatives and change management
Familiarity with HR and operations processes, and the ability to understand and address their workforce-related needs
