We are seeking a professional Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content that aligns with client briefs and project objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and collaborative skills to produce high-quality visual content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions and coherent storytelling.
- Incorporate visual effects, graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance the final product.
- Review and revise content based on feedback to meet client expectations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the creative team and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Provide input on scripts and storyboards to ensure alignment with visual storytelling.
- Quality Assurance:
- Test and optimize videos for various media platforms to ensure compatibility and quality.
- Maintain organized records of project files and assets.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve production quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Solid understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, continuity, and storytelling.
- Excellent computer literacy and familiarity with graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work methodically and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- A degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
