Trade Finance Officer

• Manage and control timely/accurateprocessing of all items in order to achieve quality         standards of service andaccuracy.
•  Provide Value Added consultative TFservices to customers, Business groups.
•  Process Trade Finance, applications, documents andcorrespondence as per established Work Instructions to facilitate that errorfree services are delivered to the customers within shortest time

·Issuance/advising and amendment ofImport/Export L/C’s ( all types ).

·Ensure that customer/correspondent isnot under any sanctions OFAC or AML.

·Select correspondent bank from H.O.list to direct import L/Cs for them.

·Obtain proper approvals to add ourconfirmation to Export L/Cs.

·Lodgment & settlement of documentsimport ,export, inward and outward documentary         collections 

·Follow up with customers to providesettlement instructions for inward documentary bills for collection.

• Thorough understanding of SWIFT and all Trade Finance and financial operating systems.
• General banking knowledge.
