Pinerium is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide high-quality technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for ICT infrastructure and low current solutions. This role focuses on networking, security, data centers, communication systems, and hardware support, ensuring efficient operation and resolving technical issues for clients.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and networking-related issues, assisting in deployments, and providing maintenance services.
Responsibilities
1. ICT Infrastructure & Networking Support
Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, networking, and security systems.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and structured cabling systems.
Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
Assist in the deployment and maintenance of servers, storage, and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
Perform regular IT audits, security monitoring, and network performance optimization.
2. Low Current Solutions Support
Assist in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Support access control, fire alarm, and intrusion detection systems.
Perform diagnostics and issue resolution for public address, intercom, and queue management systems.
3. System Administration & IT Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues for ICT infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance and system updates to ensure uptime.
Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to clients.
Document support cases, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
4. Security & Compliance
Assist in cybersecurity implementations, including firewall configuration and intrusion prevention.
Monitor IT security risks and report vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security guidelines, and best practices.
5. Customer Support & Training
Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT and security best practices.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to resolve hardware and network issues.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in technical support, networking, or IT infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of ICT networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP addressing, routing, and switching).
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, and network security devices.
Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, and data center operations.
Experience in supporting low current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address systems, etc.).
Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues efficiently. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
Good communication and customer service skills. Certification in CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or related IT fields is a plus. Own laptop required.
