General Description and Missions:
- Manage and maintain a complex on-premises infrastructure that supports deployed applications. The primary focus is on operational tasks, with occasional responsibilities related to the integration and delivery of services.
- The individual must be able to learn independently and adapt to evolving systems, often with minimal documentation.
- Participate in rotational shifts is required to address any infrastructure issues that may arise and ensure continuous system availability.
Main responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and operate the infrastructure supporting deployed applications, ensuring continuous functionality.
- Integration and Delivery: Handle integration and delivery tasks as needed to ensure proper configuration and seamless operation of services.
- Application Support: Provide support for applications to ensure they perform reliably and remain available.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve infrastructure issues to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new technologies and tools, adapting to changes in infrastructure with minimal documentation.
- Rotational Shift Support: Participate in rotational shifts to respond to urgent infrastructure issues and ensure system stability and uptime.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills Requirements:
- Fluent English Speaker.
- Linux Administration: Strong knowledge of managing and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
- Kubernetes: Understanding of Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.
- Infrastructure Automation: Knowledge of tools like Terraform and Ansible for automating infrastructure processes.
- Virtualization: Basic understanding of vCenter for managing virtualized environments.
- Monitoring: Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring infrastructure health and performance.
- Networking: General understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of managing TLS/SSL certificates and configuring FortiGate firewalls.
- Data Protection: Awareness of backup strategies and tools like Veritas NetBackup.Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and changing environments.
- Communication: Can explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical
- Accountability: Takes responsibility for tasks and ensures they are completed on time.
