Job Overview:



The Tax Supervisor will support the Tax Controller in managing the organization’s tax reporting and compliance within the required deadlines. This role involves the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and assisting in tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.

Key Responsibilities:



Tax Reporting and Compliance:



Prepare and review various tax returns (e.g., income, payroll, WHT, and VAT) to ensure accuracy and timely submission. Ensure compliance with tax regulations. Manage the preparation of required documentation and forms for tax filings. Respond to tax notices and coordinate with tax authorities as needed.

Tax Planning:



Assist in developing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Analyze the tax implications of various business decisions. Support the implementation of tax planning strategies. Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation in compliance with tax laws.

Audit Support:



Provide support during tax audits, including the preparation of necessary documents and responses. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors, having statutory work experience is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication:



Work closely with the accounting department to ensure the proper flow of financial information. Collaborate with external tax consultants when necessary.

Qualifications:



Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional tax certification is a plus.
Experience:
5-7 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field. Experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting.

Skills:



Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
