Job Summary:


We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Senior Specialist to join our finance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax processes, and managing tax-related risks.


Responsibilities:


Tax Compliance & Reporting


  • Prepare and file accurate tax computations in a timely manner to comply with statutory reporting (including corporate income tax, VAT and other similar taxes)

Tax Controversy & Transfer Pricing


  • Manage Tax Auditors and the tax audit process
  • Ensure transfer pricing rule book is adhered to for any transfer pricing related matters on the tax audit

Managing Tax Risks


  • Follow the framework for internal and external control and governance in tax management
  • Support Execution of tax strategies and support implementation of tax projects initiated from Statutory and Tax Controller and Director of Finance

Introduction of New Taxes


  • Adopt and implement introduction of new taxes at business units, as applicable
  • Ensure timely implementation and compliance with new taxes introduced

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any equivalent; professional accounting/tax qualification is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax function in an FMCG/MNC or Big 4 tax experience
  • Experience in analyzing financial statements, preparation of tax returns.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Integrity and Trust; Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in handling financial information and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
