Systems Engineer & Network Admin
Job Description
Server Management: - Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal server operation.
Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and troubleshoot network protocols and services.
Security:
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
- Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
Backup and Recovery: - Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical systems and data.
- Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity.
User Account Management:
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Ensure compliance with security policies for user authentication and authorization.
Software Installation and Updates:
- Install, configure, and update software applications and system utilities.
- Evaluate and test new software releases for compatibility.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with helpdesk and support teams for incident resolution.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and generate reports.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
Personal Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent technical report skills Very Good command of English Excellent Leadership skills
Technical Skills
Experience with Azure Cloud, VMware, Avaya, and Office 365 administration.
Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
Knowledge of software installation and update processes.
Education
B.Sc. of Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
