Responsibilities Manage a shift of line chemists and quality technicians and the quality laboratory operations Provide support and coaching for shop floor teams for day-to-day activities Provide daily morning brief session regarding GMP's and personnel hygiene to the entire quality personnel and ensure compliance. Perform 3C scoreboards updates and daily and monthly KPI reporting for % Quality compliance follow up on any non-compliance or "opportunities" from process records Responsible for managing chemicals and lab supplies accounts to adhere to monthly spending and manages available resources appropriately to achieve agreed targets Follow up on Shift quality members attendance, vacation, coverage and scheduling Organize workflow and task schedules to maximize line chemists and quality technicians work efficiency. Oversee the testing of products and ingredients to ensure they meet specifications. Ensure producing safe products and applying key food safety attributes in his area of concern. Ensure that necessary adjustments are made to product batches and other processes when out of normal operating conditions are experienced. Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of data and recordings. Manage new initiatives or special projects that impact entire plant quality parameters. Acts as technical consultant to the quality personnel. Meet plant agreed quality targets related to production lines based on 3C monthly results. Meet agreed Productivity & Sustainability program targets in terms of no. of samples in specs and ingredient loss. Assess production lines after overhauling from quality perspective as a part of the Commissioning, Qualification and Verification "CQV" set program. Develop his team technical and leadership skills and evaluates performance and efficiency of subordinates and encourage their further development. Ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of production equipment Inventory control on chemicals and lab supplies used for analysis and sanitation Ensure safe operation in his area of concern. Develop/review all documents required by PI standards concerning quality systems and food safety and follow up on their applications. Supervise the daily implementation of all quality systems and food safety related procedures and records to ensure that all programs are correctly executed and documented. Assume other duties as assigned by area management. Qualifications Bsc degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or agriculture. Minimum 3 years experience in quality operations, in field of food industries will be an added value. Strong leadership and communication skills Time management skills and handling multitasks at the same time Ability to work under stress Very good command on MS package Good written and spoken English Ability to make quick decisions and work in a fast-paced environment
