Overview As the Supply Planning Lead, you will be the driving force behind the supply planning activities for a specific category across multiple market units. You will be the primary point of contact for the organization for this category, acting as a bridge between the planning hub and the market for supply planning. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring market plans are adopted, performance indicators are met, and any business unit escalations are resolved. This role, set to be filled in 2024, will require an initial flexibility of approach as processes are primarily fixed, then shifted and improved over following strategy cycles. Responsibilities Developing production plans and ensuring the delivery of an optimized cross-site manufacturing supply plan that can be scheduled to maintain the target stock holding of all products to deliver service to business units. Creating constrained capacity production plans within the planning horizon and escalating whenever needed. Reviewing detailed line scheduling plans and highlighting risks, working on mitigation plans, and escalating to the lead if required. Managing inventory and business waste projections with the market, effective and timely master data management, and new innovation pipeline management. Leading your team through different transition phases and ensuring the success of every phase during the transition period. Driving the development and adoption of the working model with the organization. Preparing, contributing to, and executing Supply Review for Platform Hub as part of the weekly and monthly review cycle. Leading the Supply Planning, Innovation Coordinators, and Master Data Management Team for the Category. Monitoring key service metrics and worst performers with the Planning Lead and directors. Analyzing root causes for worst performers and supporting on the definition of action plans. Being the first level of escalation on crisis, supporting the planners on resolution and proposing action plans to be aligned with the sector market. Being the first point of contact for the demand fulfillment manager on issue resolution and escalation management. Representing the planning hub at strategic meetings with the market. Being responsible for adopting the current systems and leading the agenda and compliance targets for the Supply Planning area. Qualifications A degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering is required. 3-5 years of experience in Supply Planning. Strong Line management experience High level of knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end supply systems and processes. Proficiency in product category planning. Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions or departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing or end-to-end planning processes. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs. Understanding the links between production plans, plant operations, productivity initiatives, and customer service. Proficiency in Excel. Team lead experience. Problem-solving know-how. Analytic skills. Mastery of planning methodologies like heuristics, optimization, etc. Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multicultural teams spread across geographies.
