NOK Human Capital is hiring "Supply Chain Manager" for one of the most well-known distribution companies for oil & gas lubricants internationally.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Description:
1- Manage the Supply Chain team by setting objectives, motivating, monitoring team performance to ensure growth and development for team members and department performance.
2- Analyzing Supply Chain process, identify gaps and bottlenecks, develop SOPs Standards of operating procedures to ensure compliance related to key supply chain requirements such as, purchasing (foreign and local), supplier qualifications, logistics, distribution, inventory management.
3- Control and create supply chain plans and reports to ensure highest efficiency level in logistics, inventory management and sourcing.
4- Ensure safe practice for all supply chain activates according to the set safety procedures.
5- Ensuring the synergy between the supply chain acquirements with the production needs, plans for high production OTIF.
6- Monitor the communication and negotiation with the existing and new vendors to sustain a steady feedstock at the best rates
7- Monitor all logistical operations to ensure smooth on-time deliveries are made.
8- Monitor inventory activates to ensure product availability, safety/buffer stocks at hand while reducing/eliminating slow-moving stocks.
9- Lead cost optimization projects until the saturation level with providing excellent customer service
10- Lead all corrective and preventive actions to help the organization to achieve their objectives.
11- Effective reporting for the top management regarding the contract inventory level / cost inputs / purchased items /distribution.
12- Collaborate with other departments (sales, finance and Marketing) to develop and identify cost saving business opportunities.
13- Set crisis and risk management procedures covering every possible risk might happen in all supply chain aspects.
14- Monitor the documentation process across the supply chain different functions according to the company quality assurance standards and to record all the supply chain performance.
Job Requirements:
1) Post graduate degree
2) B.A, Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred
3) 8-10 years of experience in similar role
4) Proficiency on SAP & MS office
5) Strong negotiation, problem solving & communication skills
6) Excellent Leadership & project Management Skills
