Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities.
- Develop and implement private label product strategies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage product lifecycles from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Manage budgets and financial performance of private label products.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee packaging design and branding efforts.
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends.
- Prepare and present reports on product performance to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with private label products.
- Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Private Label
- Proven experience as Sr Category Manager for Private Label or similar role
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in MS Office
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Excellent communication and people skills
