EgyBell is hiring Solutions Consultant (Presale Engineer) for a multinational telecommunications equipment provider.
The Solution Consultant plays a key role within the company, combining in-depth technical skills with commercial and sales skills. They are responsible for promoting and selling the company’s technical products or services, providing pre-sales technical support to sales staff and developing lasting relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide product and technology training to sales staff and partners. Act as technical expert to convince customers during contract negotiations. Help customers express, collect and analyze their needs. This enables the customer to draw up specifications. Take part in the sales process and draw up a technical description of the customer’s expectations (in particular the “Solution Description Document”). Provide overall technical support to sales staff to help them during the various phases of the sales process (prototype, documentation, etc.), to help them respond to calls for tender. Derive a product architecture with inherent dimensioning (in particular the “bill of materials”); in other words, establish the number of machines, software licenses, etc., to deduce the bid price. Work more in the back office and in tandem with the team than independently. Hold customer meetings with his team and manager. Monitor technological and competitive developments. In projects, know how to analyze the current situation and prioritize potential areas for improvement. Know how to use the right office automation tools to produce effective content. demonstrate real autonomy daily. Support sales demonstrations with the customer by arguing the offer and its choices. Support sales staff more closely during the various sales phases. Keep abreast of technological and economic developments, present solution mock-ups as a more effective visual tool for customers, and analyze prospects’ needs to propose the most appropriate solution. Deliver high-level technical presentations. Conduct independent customer meetings. Adapt the implementation of instructions to the context and characteristics of the project. Demonstrate product and market expertise. Mentoring, i.e. anticipating the customer’s needs in relation to technical market developments and proposing future use of the product. Be able to carry out a complete PoC (Proof of Concept) at customer sites. Ability to lead technical discussions and/or a complex project in English.

Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical sciences or related field. Relevant work experience in a role combining technical and commercial skills. Ability to travel frequently. Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and explain technical concepts. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English Speaking & Writing
