Job Description:
The Salesforce Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process for Salesforce implementations, ensuring that all releases meet high standards for performance, usability, and functionality. This role will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and product managers, and drive best practices in Salesforce testing. The Salesforce Quality Lead will ensure that the Salesforce platform delivers a seamless user experience and aligns with the business's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1-Lead QA Efforts:
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for applications and related integrations.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in testing.
2- Test Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions.
- Execute end-to-end testing of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations with other systems.
3- Automation & Tools Management:
- Implement and manage automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Prover, Test Complete) to enhance the testing process for Salesforce.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for various Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.
4- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test plans.
- Communicate test results, defects, and status reports to key stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
5- Defect Tracking & Resolution:
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
6- Reporting & Documentation:
- Provide clear and concise test reports, including test results, defect summaries, and test coverage status.
- Maintain documentation for testing processes, test scripts, and defect management.
7- Continuous Improvement:
- Advocate for continuous improvement in the quality assurance process, including recommending new tools, processes, and methodologies to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
