About the Role
We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to join our Cairo office and be a key member of the Professional Services Team – Operations Department. This role is responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud contact center solutions, including IVR systems, chatbots, and workflow automation tools.
This role involves building, automating, and troubleshooting integrations, ensuring an efficient and seamless experience for our clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys solving technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Deployment
- Develop and implement integrations between ZIWO and external platforms (CRMs, APIs, databases).
- Ensure smooth deployment of cloud contact center solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Optimize integrations using scripting and automation tools.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize IVR systems, chatbots, and workflow automation tools.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges related to integrations.
- Work closely with the Cross-Functional Teams to troubleshoot and enhance solutions.
- Conduct post-deployment testing to validate performance, security, and functionality.
Automation & Optimization
- Leverage low-code automation tools to enhance efficiency.
- Optimize workflow automation for seamless performance.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work directly with clients to understand technical requirements.
- Provide clear documentation and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Integration Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Linux OS (preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
- Proficiency in LUA, Python, XML, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) (e.g., Python, Java).
- Familiarity with IVR implementation using telephony stacks (Freeswitch, Asterisk).
- Knowledge of Software Design Patterns.
- Proficiency with API tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Hands-on experience with Low-Code Automation Tools.
