About the Role


Our client is a pioneering online marketplace for agricultural products in the MENA region, with a mission to connect retailers and farmers with suppliers, offering a wide range of agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farming equipment. They aim to enhance the agricultural industry's digital connectivity, making it easier for farmers to access high-quality products at competitive prices.


The Social Media Specialist will manage and grow the company’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This role focuses on increasing engagement, expanding the follower base, and enhancing brand positioning through strategic content creation and management.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and grow followers on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create, curate, and manage content for monthly posting calendars, aligning with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Oversee day-to-day posting, scheduling, and monitoring of content across all social media platforms.
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive interactions.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, using insights to optimize future strategies and enhance overall results.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand’s social media presence fresh and effective.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand messaging and campaigns across all platforms.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven experience managing social media accounts, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong knowledge of social media metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics), with the ability to interpret data and make informed adjustments.
  • Proficient in creating platform-specific content, including text, images, and short-form videos.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to convey messages creatively and effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
  • Strong creative mindset and ability to stay up-to-date with social media innovations
