about the role
Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design and implement ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Perform system upgrades and enhancements to improve performance and functionality. Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform updates and new features.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience working with ServiceNow as a developer lead or architect. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification preferred. Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Proven experience with complex ServiceNow integrations and custom applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions for large-scale enterprises. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. Proficiency in implementing ITIL framework practices and leveraging ITIL methodologies within ServiceNow implementations. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. Advanced problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges. Demonstrated leadership in driving technical projects to successful completion and mentoring technical teams effectively. Cloud technology expertise with experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards. Data management skills including data modeling and database management. Enterprise integration experience with middleware technologies and ETL processes. DevOps and automation skills for continuous integration and deployment. Business acumen to align technical solutions with organizational goals. Vendor management skills in evaluating and managing third-party solutions. Project management experience and proficiency in project management methodologies. Commitment to continuous learning and development in the IT field. Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
