Job PurposeEffectively & timely lead team into generating the planned  sales target on an “Initial Screening Basic” and channeling same to the relevant SME division head.Coordinate with the relevant division head to identify market opportunities and conduct initial market screening and capture potential SME clients aiming to enhance the business growth and profitability. Targeting a growing market share and a healthy portfolio.Source, analyze, structure & facilitate client relationships who require trade & working capital requirements.To ensure growth in the balance sheet while ensuring service delivery to these clients through interaction with other departments

To proactively drive new to bank business to grow SME Business presence in the identified target segmentsTo maintain close contact and relationship with the clients  in a way, which ensures that we remain one of their main banks getting a major share of their walletIncrease the SME overall brand awareness levels and leadership of MashreqPrepare &/or guide and check on SME Credit Analyst(s) in preparing credit approval memosCheck diligently and technically the outcome/output of the preparing levelEfficiently coaching and development of Specialists’ skillsKeep co-workers informed of all relevant job issuesPerform delegated responsibilities with minimum supervisionsTo deliver agreed assets/liabilities/ revenue numbers through ensuring extension of funded/no fund based facilities, trade! FX! Remittances transactional volumes and significant cross-sell of e-banking! Business loans/ other products of the BankTo prepare customer credit packages & recommend relevant facility approvals as per the credit needs and worthinessTo ensure that the credit risk on account of funded/ non-funded facilities extreme adequately mitigated through robust credit analysis and ensuring full and proper executed requisite security documentation by the customersTo ensure compliance requirements for the relationship are adhered to in line with the policies – KYC, AML, Account reviews as per Risk Levels, High Value Transaction monitoring escalation.

Key result areaComplete knowledge and understanding of the banking credit policy and operating systems.


Strong credit and legal knowledge is mandatory.


Thorough awareness of various financial product/ services.


Excellent analytical skills with ability to perform as a team player.


Strong communication and analytical skills also leadership sound.


MBA is preferred with min experience of 5-6 years in managerial levels.
