About The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic People Operations expert to lead and elevate our People Operations department. This individual will report directly to the Head of People & Culture and they will be spearheading people operations as a function


What You’ll Do


  • 1. Payroll Operations:


    • Collect and verify information from Egypt, UAE, and KSA.


    • Process payroll accurately and timely for Egypt, UAE, and KSA.


    • Address payroll-related issues and questions from employees and managers, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.


  • 2. Onboarding and Offboarding:


    • Take ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires.


    • Manage the offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with internal and external regulations.


  • 3. Insurance and Compliance:


    • Liaise with the insurance office to handle Forms 1, 2, and 6 appropriately.


    • Ensure all processes are compliant with Egypt's labor law and other relevant legal requirements.


  • 4. Process Improvement:


    • Enhance existing People Operations processes in Egypt, UAE, and KSA.


    • Develop and implement strategies to elevate the People Operations function to the next level.


  • 5. Employee Support:


    • Handle daily employee inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.


    • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers regarding People Operations policies and procedures.


  • 6. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:


    • Ensure thorough understanding and application of Egypt's labor law in all relevant People Operations processes


    • Work closely with our Legal department to ensure compliance with people and culture regulations across all our operational countries.


What You’ll Need 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar role.


  • Proven expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding processes, especially in Egypt, UAE, and KSA, with a strong understanding of regional labor laws.


  • Skilled in managing employee relations, resolving workplace issues, and fostering a supportive work environment.


  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills, with a conscientious approach to follow-through and embedding these behaviors within the team.


  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and organizational skills.


  • High agency and adaptability, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
