Senior QC Engineer

Job Purpose

Responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. They are involved in defining and designing automation frameworks and manual tests on software usability as well as conducting all aspects of the software testing activities from reviewing and running tests, analyzing results, and reporting observations to the concerned.

Job Responsibilities

• Take the responsibility for the quality of product/feature, assess risks and ensure all features with a high-quality bar.
• Plan, develop and execute test strategy across core Instabug products and platforms.
• Implement and evolve QC processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across all products.
• Design test scenarios for all testing phases based on customer requirements.
• Prepare UAT documents for the client’s acceptance test.
• Report bugs on the bug tracking tool and track all of them until closure.
• Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
• Conduct acceptance testing on customer servers.
• Report test results to different stakeholders.
• Participate in automation tasks.
• Participate in non-functional testing tasks (Performance, Security).
• Participate in requirements review after a certain level of experience.
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for a scalable solution to prevent regressions and ensure the reliability of the product.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in manual & automation testing of ANDROID, iOS & AngularJS
• Being able to detect issues in Requirements/Stories.
• Able to consider the perspective of the end customer while performing the testing of the service/product.
• Able to measure the success of testing against business goals achieved.
• Able to verify service/product being created in the form of business/market value.
• Experience in White box testing and agile testing.
• Knows when to consider the task/story DONE.
• Excellent Selenium knowledge or related test automation technology experience.
• Automation Experience with Cypress , Appium , postman , espresso , swuift UI
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
