JOB PURPOSE


The Senior Procurement Services Specialist at Azadea's Business Services is responsible for supporting the diverse activities related to non-merchandise procurements, ensuring the provision of an effective function to business units.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Implement sourcing strategies to support the corporate and divisional objectives and provide recommendations on item/services for procurement to maintain the company's competitive edge.
  • Manage and negotiate small category contracts under guidance.
  • Collate and analyze data to generate routine reports, schedules, proposals, summaries and letters.
  • Monitor and supervise the end of month closing tasks performed by the procurement team.
  • Establish and optimize a consolidated supplier base, analyzing it to fulfill current and future commodity needs and enhance mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers.
  • Monitor consumables' inventory levels, analyze users' purchasing patterns to minimize expenses, establish monitoring controls and address issues related to supply orders.
  • Perform continuous research to identify new potential suppliers and remain up to date on new products and market trends.

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS


Language Proficiency


  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in French is a plus.

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in MS Office, "MACROS" and all Windows formulas applications.

EDUCATION


Bachelor's degree in a related field.



EXPERIENCE


Four to six years of experience in a similar role.
