JOB PURPOSE


As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of a complex organization, specifically managing Market Scanning, IT, Cars Transactions Operations, Customer Support, and Content Moderation. You will work closely with executive leadership to develop and implement strategies that drive efficiency, improve performance, and ensure overall business success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


●        Take ownership of the Operations department and the different functions within it.


●        Liaise with the CEO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.


●        Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.


●        Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the department to ensure smooth progress.


●        Evaluate regularly the efficiency of operations procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.


●        Oversee customer support and customer experience processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.


●        Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.


●        Prepare statistics & data and compile accurate reports. Analyse and improve process and service procedures, policies, and standards.


●        Revise and formulate policies and promote their implementation.


●        Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.


●        Mentor and develop the Operations team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.


●        Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.


●        Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with IT vendors.


●        Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyse variances, and initiate corrective actions.
