Duties and Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley nuclear and radiation safety systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
• Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews design basis documents (Basic Design, Detailed Design) and calculations pertaining to vendor design.
• Reviews the PSAR and FSAR for compliance with the nuclear and radiation safety Codes and Standards.
• Monitors construction of NPP’s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
• Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to nuclear and radiation safety.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or Radiation Protection.
• Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in nuclear and radiation safety on large scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of VVER- or other NPP-technology, as well as NPP siting, construction and commissioning processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential with the ability to communicate, influence and persuade. 
• Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment
• Understanding Russian or Arabic is beneficial.
